The reverie sunset

 1½ ounces mezcal

• ½ ounce tequila

• 3/4 ounce fresh lime juice

• ½ ounce jalapeño syrup

• ½ ounce triple sec

• 1½ fresh strawberries (muddled)

• 5 fresh raspberries (muddled)

• Ice

• Optional garnish: jalapeño slice and strawberry

1. Cut the strawberries and raspberries into small pieces and muddle them in a shaker.

2. Add ice, then the mezcal, tequila, lime juice, jalapeño syrup, and triple sec.

3. Shake well to chill.

4. Strain into a glass over fresh ice.

5. Garnish with a slice of jalapeño and a slice of strawberry.
